The State Concern (SC) AZAL checks technical condition of all aircraft types produced in CIS countries, the head of the AZAL SC Djahangir Askerov told the news conference on 28 December, Trend reports.
В"Inspection of airplanes and helicopters, particularly, the aircrafts of IL-8, TU-134, РўU -154 types is currently being held at my instructions. These aircrafts undergo one-time checking on navigational system, other kinds of works are also carried out”, he was quoted as saying.
Askerov noted, technical inspections will not take much time and will be finished on 29 December.
As for the efficiency in the use of the CIS-manufactured aircrafts, Askerov noted 90% of the aviation park in the CIS states are composed of these airplanes. В"Once they meet all standards and rules why should we refuse them?”, he said.
