The Azerbaijani State Railway Department (ASRD) and Russian Railway JSC achieved an agreement on the connection of the Georgian passenger carriage to the Baku-Moscow train, ASRD told Trend.

The Georgian Railway Department addressed to ASRD with request to connect 3 carriages (2 passenger and 1 luggage one) to the Baku-Moscow passenger train.

The Baku-Moscow train consists of 19 carriages, including, passenger and luggage carriages, as well as restaurant. Therefore, we decided to accept one Georgian passenger carriage in a week instead of our luggage one, as we cannot increase the number of the carriages, ASRD noted.

ASRD carries out 3 trips on the Baku-Moscow trip in a week. Georgia is notified of the decision and now we are waiting for reply, the department said.
