Over this period Azerbaijan carried out export on 2,102 kinds of goods for $4,346,879,800, import on 5,740 kinds of goods - $4,200,396,200, Trend reports referring to the State Customs Committee (SCC). Balance in black on import-export transactions comprised $146,483,600. Import growth made up 20.23% or $731,261,300 as compared to 2004, export - 19.46% or $684,222,100.
Import from foreign countries, excepting the CIS states, was $2,752,909,600 in 2005. Azerbaijan imported different equipment, electric machines, furniture, and land transport.
Over this period Azerbaijan exported goods for $3,441,539,300 or 79.17% of the total export to foreign countries, excepting the CIS states,. It was oil products, fruits, ferrous metals.
Besides, Azerbaijan exported goods for $905,340,600 or 20.83% of the total export to the CIS countries. The same time, these countries exported goods for $1,447,486,600 or 34.46% of the total import to Azerbaijan. The balance in red formed on the CIS countries made up $542,146,000. The goods exported from Azerbaijan to the CIS countries were equipment, land transport, oil products and cereals, from CIS countries to Azerbaijan - vegetables, oil, chemicals, seed oils and adipose.
