Ibrahim Al-Assaf, the Saudi Finance Minister, send a letter to Abid Sharifov, the Azerbaijani Vice-Primer, Ali Hassan Jafar, the Saudi Ambassador to Azerbaijan, told Trend.
The Ambassador handed over the letter by the Saudi Minister to Azerbaijani Vice-Primer. In his letter, the Al-Assaf wrote about allocation of $12m for implementation of the project on reconstruction of the Ganja-Yevlakh highway and expressed readiness to set to implementation of the project.
The Ambassador noted that the leadership of the Saudi Arabia was interested in the development of the comprehensive cooperation with Azerbaijan. This cooperation successfully develops in the political, economic and cultural spheres over several years. At present, the Saudi government plans to expand the relations in trade, infrastructure and communications.
