Specialists of some countries will arrive in Baku in the framework of the struggle with bird flu. The specialists of Ukraine and the UN Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) are expected to pay a visit to the country, the State Veterinary Service under the Azerbaijani Agriculture Ministry told Trend.
The date of the visit has not determined yet, but it is planned for March, the Veterinary Service said.
The goal of the visit is to exchange experience in the struggle with bird flu and improve skills in the use of the special laboratory equipment.
The next monitoring on revealing of bird flu will be conducted by Special commission, consisted of the specialists of the Veterinary Service, Health Ministry, Ecology and Natural Resources Ministry, Zoology Institute of the National Academy of Sciences, in early March.
