On Wednesday the Azerbaijani Transport Ministry intends to start implementation of the project on construction of motor bridges for unloading of transport infrastructure in Baku, the Azerbaijani Transport Ministry told Trend. The foundation laying of the first bridge will take place in the circle near Mashadi Azizbayov subway station.
The foundation laying of 6 more new bridges will be held soon. The total number of the bridges to be constructed during nearest 2 years comprises 10. Besides, the Transport Ministry will build new highway connecting the city with airport. The Ministry also plans to construct great number of overland and underground crossings.
The work will be carried out within the Presidents decree on improvement of transport system in Baku for 2006-2007.
