At the IV session of Azeri-Kazakh intergovernmental commission for economic cooperation held April 29 in Baku, the participants shared their satisfaction on the positive development of cooperation in transportation sphere, in particular along TRASECA route.
The session was headed by first voce-premier of Azeri government Abbas Abbasov and Kazakh minister of power engineering and mineral resources Batikozh Izmukhambetov.
Trend reports that Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan agreed to provide mutual discounts for for cargos transportation by boats.
In 2005 dry cargos transported between Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan (including transit) totaled 947k ton.
Abbasov said 3.02mln ton of Kazakh oil were pumped via Azerbaijan in 2005.
