The first meeting of the Azerbaijani-Polish intergovernmental commission on economic cooperation will be held in Warsaw on 11-12 September 2006, Voitzekh Guretskiy, an adviser of the Polish Embassy in Baku told Trend.
According to the diplomat, at present the two sides are designing the agenda of the consolations. The key importance will be attached to perspectives of trade-economic relationships between the two countries.
The commission was established on the base of a bilateral agreement between Azerbaijan and Poland during the Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyevs official visit to Warsaw. The co-chairs of the commission are Heydar Babayev, the Azerbaijan Minister for Economic Development and Peter Wazniak, the Polish Ministry for Economy.
