Baku Steel Company (BSC) suspended exporting its production due to the growing demand in Azerbaijans internal market, Trend reports with reference to BSC.
Usually Baku Steel Company exports its production to such countries as Russia or Turkmenistan.
В"At present, due to construction of large bridges in Baku, the demand for our production rose significantlyВ", company officials said.
Officials also noted that BSC has enough raw metal in disposal now.
In January, the factory had to suspend operation for a week due to lack of raw metal and repair operations.
During 2006, the factory is planning to raise amount of production by 25%. BSC capacity today is 350 ton a year with personnel over 2k people.
