The Georgian authorities have prohibited the bringing in Georgia of more than 5 liters of petrol from Azerbaijan. The drivers of the lorries entering Georgia are made to pour all the fuel off excepting 5 liters which are necessary to reach the nearest petrol station, Trend `s reporter to Tbilisi reports.
According to the drivers these measures have been taken on the oral instruction of the Georgian Financial Police. On the base of this instruction customs officials make drivers to pour the petrol off that causes their discontent.
For comparison, the drivers pointed out that in Azerbaijan petrol costs 0,7 laris, but in Georgia it already costs 1,7 laris.
No official explanations to journalists concerning this fact have been given by Georgian officils.
