Chrysler introduces PT Cruiser Pacific Coast Highway Edition

(autoinsidernews) - Chrysler is kicking off the annual Woodward Dream Cruise with the unveiling of the limited edition PT Street Cruiser Pacific Coast Highway Edition, the twelfth factory-customized PT Cruiser in the models history.

This Chrysler PT Street Cruiser Pacific Coast Highway Edition celebrates another great American road, a tradition we started with our PT Dream Cruiser series and continued with last years Route 66 Edition, said David Rooney, Director Chrysler Marketing and Global Communications, reports Trend.

Based on the 2007 PT Cruiser Touring, the Pacific Coast Highway Edition is powered by a 150-hp 2.4L four-cylinder engine mated to either a five-speed manual transaxle or a four-speed automatic. The PT Cruiser PCH features Ocean Blue paint, with a matching Ocean Blue spoiler, and rides on unique platinum-clad 17-inch wheels. The exterior features chrome grille, door handles, side molding and exhaust tip. Inside, the two-tone interior is done in Slate Gray and Paste Slate Gray, with Ocean Blue Alias inserts on the seats to visually link them to the exterior.

The 2007 Chrysler PT Street Cruiser Pacific Coast Highway Edition goes on sale later this summer as limited production version and retails for $20,735 with a manual and $21,570 for the automatic.
