On September 7, the Ministry of Labour and Social Protections of Population of Azerbaijan held labour fairs in the districts of Balaken and Zakatala. As a result of the fair, 48 people were provided with jobs and 6 persons were involved in paid public works, Trend reports with reference to Head Employment Department of the same Ministry. Generally, the fair was attended by 23 enterprises with 161 vacancies.
In Khanlar, the number of employed persons was 45, and 10 people were sent to training courses.
It was stated in the Department that, by present the ministry has held 41 labour fair in various regions of the country including Nakchivan Autonomous Republic. The fair were attended by 1211 enterprises with 13 759 workplaces and in result, 2999 people were employed, 190 were involved in paid public works and 164 were sent to training courses.
The next labour fairs will be held on September 8 in Astara, Tovuz and Zardab.
