The Finance Ministry of Azerbaijan doesn't agree with the recommendations of the International Currency Fund (ICF) and doesn't intend to stop the expenditures for the remaining period of 2006. During the recent visit of the ICF mission headed by the deputy director of ICF Department for Near East and Central Asia Vitali Karamarenko, the government was recommended to hold the review of the investment projects financed through the state nudget and annul realization of the projects that hasn't started yet.

I consider that the expenditure part of the budget should be implemented. During the realization of the investment projects, the organizations themselves make savings for the state finance, Azerbaijani finance minister told a press-conference on September 15, Trend reports.

On the other side, the government agrees that there should be equality between expenditures and revenues, the minister considers.

AZN 269 million has already been invested in the construction of the facilities, financing of which is realized through the state budget, and this forms 30.5% from the finances intended for this year. Generally AZN 882.3 mln has been intended for 2006.
