Over the period January-August 2006, the volume of the output of nonmetallic mineral matters in Azerbaijan increase by 3.5 per cent. According to the State Statistics Committee, the output of the main types of products such as cement, bricks, lime, and structural glass increase in the country. At present, 94.5 per cent of the constructional materials fall at the private sector, Trend reports.
In January-July, the number of those who were engaged in this sphere reached 5451 persons, or on 11 per cent more versus the corresponding period of the last year. The average amount of the wage of the workers made up 145.6 AZN in this period.
