The total sum of deposits of physical persons put in the International bank of Azerbaijan (IBA) to September 1, 2006 was 170.788 m. AZN, and the number of depositors of the Bank reached 23 018 persons. With the introduction of new interest rates on the deposits for physical persons, since June 1 till August 31, 2006, the number of the Bank`s depositors exceeded 1380 persons, and the total sum of the means attracted - 15.5 РјР"РЅ. AZN.
Starting from June 1, 2006, IBA approved new interest rates on deposits of physical persons with the possibility of gaining of an income up to 18 per cent per annum. In addition, it was for the first time in the history of the country`s banking system, when the bank (IBA) gave an opportunity for the population to put their deposits for the period up to 4 years.
Today, IBA presents 8 types of deposits to its clients and different kinds of plastic cards with the possibility of receiving of credit lines depending on the amount of the deposit.
