The third National Robotics Tournament is expected to be held in Baku on December 16, Trend reports referring to British Council Baku.
The tournament will be held within the Robotics Mission Project. This is the third year of the project designed to help establishing links between secondary schools of Azerbaijan and UK. This year, a fantastic number of students and schools are involved in the project: 176 students and 22 trainers from 11 Azerbaijani and the same number of schools from UK.
The winning team of the tournament will travel to UK to participate at UK FIRST LEGO League Final to be held by the Birmingham University on January 27, 2007. Within the program, Mr. Mike Grocott, Director of the Space centre of the Callington Community College (UK)is expected to hold trainings and a science master class foe Azerbaijani students and teachers.
