The volume of cargo transportations by the Azerbaijan State Railway Company in the past 11 months of 2006 has reached 28 mln. tons, which is by 3 mln. 864 thousand tons more than it was planned, a source in the State Railway Company informed Trend.
19 mln. loads were transported by the railway in January-November, 2006. This figure is by 2 mln. 659 thousand tons more versus last year. 14 mln. of the loads transported fall at oil and oil refined products.
The forecast on the efficiency of the locomotive depot has been fulfilled by 104,3%. The average weight of the train was 2,153 tons which is by 43 tons more versus the corresponding period of the last year.
The message also says that the tariff plan on the turnover of goods was fulfilled by 122% which is by 16,2% more versus the corresponding period of the last year.
In the reporting period, 5,3 mln. passengers were carried. That allowed to gain 20,1 mln. AZN. The prime cost of the carriages was reduced by 4,2 AZN versus the forecast..
