2008 Ford Freestyle powered by Ford's new corporate 3.5L V6

(autoinsidernews) - Spy photographers caught Ford's restyled 2008 Freestyle ahead of its debut at the Chicago Auto Show next month. Following the recently introduced 2008 Five Hundred, the Freestyle will inherit Ford's corporate three bar grille, which made its production debut on the Ford Fusion. The 2008 Freestyle is expected to get a revamped interior similar to the one the seen in the 2008 Five Hundred, including higher quality finish and materials, reports Trend.

The 2008 Freestyle will be powered by Ford's new corporate 3.5L V6, which replaces the underpowered 3.0L Duratec, expect power output to be 260-hp just like the Five Hundred. The engine will mated to a six-speed automatic transmission.
