IFC and Azerbaijan Investment Company to Sign Memorandum of Understanding on Application of Corporative Management Standards

The representative of the International Financial Corporation (IFC) to Azerbaijan, Aliya Azimova, stated that the IFC and Azerbaijan Investment Company JSC prepare to sign a Memorandum of Understanding on application of corporative management standards, Trend reports.

The corporative management standards will be applied in the companies invested by Azerbaijan Investment Company (AIC) and in AIC itself. In addition, the Memorandum envisages devising the Code of Corporative Management for the companies invested by AIC, as well as for other several spheres, Azimova said.

As regards to the plans of the IFC to finance the projects in Azerbaijan together with AIC, Azimova said that the IFC will be open for co-operation in this sphere.
