Azerbaijan, Baku / Trend , corr I.Khalilova / Baku Office of the World Bank is to review the implementation of projects financed by the Bank. The WB Baku Office said that following the study of the portfolio, there are plans to hold talks with the Azerbaijan Government and then within the next stage, with agencies linked with the implementation of the projects
As a result of the review, WB plans to develop an action plan to further improve the portfolio of the projects.
"We will consider the reasons why the credit funds allocated by the Bank are not being utilized quickly and if necessary, extend its use," WB Baku Office stated.
Since the beginning of its co-operation with the WB, the Azerbaijan Government has financed 36 projects and allocated $1,027,52mln for their implementation.
