Azerbaijan and India to Sign Agreement to Create Inter-Governmental Commission for Commercial, Scientific and Technological Cooperation

Azerbaijan, Baku / corr. Trend I.Khalilova / In April Azerbaijan and India plan to sign the first agreement to create an Inter-Governmental Commission for Commercial, Scientific and Technological Cooperation, the Ministry of Economic Development of Azerbaijan informs. The Agreement will be signed during the visit of the Indian delegation headed by the State Minister of Commerce, Jir Ramesh, to Azerbaijan between 10 and 12 April. From the Azerbaijani side, the document will be signed by the Minister of Economic Development, Heydar Babayev.

During the visit, the sides will also discuss the interests of the Indian Company ONGC Videsh in developing oil and gas resources of Azerbaijan. The delegation also includes representatives of the National Corporation for Natural Resources Development. The Indian delegation will leave for Uzbekistan from Azerbaijan. The visit to both countries will last from 10 to 16 April.
