Trend U.Ismaylova / The Minister of Labor and Social Protection of Azerbaijan, Fizuly Alekperov, said on 14 April that the level of unemployment in Azerbaijan equals 7.7% and number of able people - 4 mln. "Unemployment in the Country has existed and will exist because it is linked with the market economy of the country, as well as competition due to the qualitative workforces," he said. According to the accounts of the Ministry, more than 1300000 people work in Azerbaijan who receives average monthly salary in amount of $200. In addition, the Minister highlighted the high increase of the flow of the foreign workforces to the Country.
According to the Minister, each year nearly 15.000 young people join the labor market of Azerbaijan and of them, approximately 90.000 have not special education. Taking into consideration this indicators, presently the Government devises a program regarding special education. The strategy of the employment of the citizens was worked out in 2005 and on its base, a State Program has been developed and is expected to be approved over the next ten days.
