Azerbaijan, Baku / Trend corr S. Babayeva / A source at the Central Employment Department of the Azerbaijani Ministry of Labour and Social Security reported on 11 April that the Ministry has set dates for labour fairs to be held in May.
In compliance with the schedule the fairs will be held in Gobustan (May 15), Gazakh (May 18) and Goychay (May 25).
The dates of the next fairs will be released later. The ministry is making preparations for labour fairs to be held in Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic (NAR) on 20 April.
The ministry held over 40 labour fairs in different Azerbaijani regions in 2006, including NAR. Over 3,000 companies with about 27,000 jobs took part in the fairs. Some 7,800 people gained employment in this way.
