Azerbaijan, Baku / Trend.Capital corr. U.Ismailova / Azerbaijani State Capital Bank has reported that the farmers would have no problems while receiving subsidies.
According to Rauf Rzayev, Chairman of the Administration Board of the Bank, the granting of subsidies will be held through a card system. The Azerbaijani Government chose the Capital Bank for granting subsidies in agricultural sector in order to cover 50% of the cost of the fuel and fertilizers obtained by the farmers.
By the President's order, set on February 9 on privatization of the banks, a commission was established at the State Committee on State Property Management of Azerbaijan. The Commission deals with proposals on participation in tenders.
The income of the Capital Bank comprised AZN 6.8mln at the beginning of 2007, with the income equalling AZN 3.8mln.The fulfilment of the budget in the first quarter increased by 24%, compared to 2006 and made up 109%.
