Azerbaijani Bank Association Signs Agreements with Ukrainian and Belarusian Bank Associations

Azerbaijan, Baku / Trend corr I. Khalilova / The Azerbaijani Bank Association (ABA) has concluded agreements on cooperation with the Ukrainian and Belarusian Bank Associations, the President of the ABA, Eldar Ismayilov, reported on 12 June.

The agreements provide for a common direction of cooperation. However, in case of financial possibilities in the future other directions of cooperation can be reviewed, depending on ABA member banks.

The President of ABA visited Kiev and Minsk for signing the accords and returned to Azerbaijan on 13 June.

The agreements with the Bank Associations of Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, and Kyrgyzstan are under development. Signings are expected to take place by the end of June. Analogue agreements have been already signed with the Bank Associations of Russia, Georgia, Cyprus, and Greece.
