Azerbaijan, Baku / Trend / In January-April 2007, 414.5mln KW/hour of electric energy was imported to Azerbaijan, which is 21.1% less than in the same period of 2006. Electricity that was imported at $11.2mln is 37.1 % less than last year.
Some 308,200t of cement clinkers were imported in January-April, 6.4 % more than 2006, at the sum of $17.4mln which is 17.2% more than in 2006.
The volume of imported cement was 325,300t, or 48.2% more than in 2006, at the cost of $16.2mln which is an increase of 70.7 % since 2006.
