Azerbaijan, Baku / Trend corr U.Ismayilova / Enterprises and organizations invested AZN 1,316,851,900 in the economy of Azerbaijan from January to June of 2007. The figure rose by 86% compared to the same period of 2006. Investments in major capital made up AZN 1,699,900 (62.3% of all investments) and state property AZN 1,027,400 (37.7%).
The State Statistics Committee reported that investments in renovations and construction rose by 15.2% and made up AZN 1.430mln.
Investments in industry comprised AZN 2.276mln and non-production facilities AZN 451.3mln.
Special weight of foreign investments made up 48.3%. Internal investments comprised 51.7% which is an increase of 50.8%.
A total of AZN 423.9mln was spent on the construction of facilities financed by budget funds, which comprises of 22.1% of the total funds allocated in this respect.
