Azerbaijan, Baku / corr Trend S.Babayeva / Namik Ahmadov, spokesman for the company announced said that on 1 August the Baku Steel Company (BSC), a largest metallurgical company of Azerbaijan, which ceased its operation due to insufficiency in raw material, restored its work.
During the period of cessation some 1,000 tons of raw metal entered the enterprise a day.
"Despite big volume of crude metal, the company's management made a resolution on rehabilitation of production," Ahmadov added.
BSC representative said that along with production the collection of raw material will also be carried out.
According to the project capacity of the plant, 1,400 tons of raw metal per day is required for production.
That was the second suspension of operations this year. The first was in January due to a similar reason.
