Azerbaijani Health Ministry Calls on Population to be Vigilant Regarding High Temperatures

Azerbaijan, Baku / Trend corr S. Babayeva / The Azerbaijani Health Ministry is calling on the population to be vigilant regarding high temperatures observed during the recent days in Azerbaijan. The Ministry recommends the following:

- To keep out of the sun between 12:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.;

- To drink more water in order to balance the exchange of water and salts in the organism;

- To visit beaches in the morning (up to 11:00 a.m.) and evening (after 7:00 p.m.).

The Health Ministry notes that these recommendations should be precisely followed by people suffering from cardiovascular, endocrinological, or nervous diseases, pregnant women, children, and elderly people.
