Azerbaijan, Baku / corr. Trend / The CIS Statistic Committee has reported that the passengers transporting decreased by 2%, and passenger turnover increased by 3% among the CIS countries in the first quarter of 2007 as compared to the same period in 2006, RJD-Partner reported.
The level of passenger transporting in Kyrgyzstan was observed by 110,8%, considering transporting by bus, made by private firms and commerce auto-enterprises as compared the same period in 2006. The passenger transporting in Armenia and Ukraine increased by 4.6% and 4.3%, in Azerbaijan by 6.5%, Kyrgyzstan -2.3%, Belarus -1.3% and in Tajikistan by 0.9%.The passenger transporting decreased by 97.3% in Moldova and by 94.1% in Russia.
