Kazakhstan, Astana / corr Trend K.Arinova / Umirzack Shukeev has been appointed as the Vice Prime Minister of Kazakhstan, the Government said.
Until his recent appointment Shukeev, 43, worked as head of the administration in South-Kazakhstan Region. Earlier, he headed the administration of Konstanay Region in the North of Kazakhstan and Astana and also held senior positions at the government.
Aslan Musin, the 59-year old former vice prime-minister, was elected MP from the pro-governmental Nur Otan Party.
