Azerbaijan, Baku / Trend / The State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) began search-exploration works in the Jahandar area, located near the Georgian border, a SOCAR source stated.
According to the SOCAR representative, the depth of the well will be 5,000m. Previous search work was carried out in the area and it was decided to implement search-exploration drillings.
