Azerbaijan, Baku / Trend corr. I.Khalilova / Switzerland demonstrated an interest in the delivery of Azerbaijani gas through the Trans Adriatic pipeline during the Azerbaijani - Swiss meeting in Baku, Heydar Babayev, the Minister of Economic Development of Azerbaijan, said.
The Minister refused to give details of the volume of gas purchased. As the pipeline passes via Italy, to Switzerland the Azerbaijani Industry and Energy Ministry and State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) is considering possible gas delivery to Italy, Greece and to Switzerland in the future.
