Azerbaijan, Baku, 12 February/ corr. Trend S. Aliyev/ Azerbaijan obtains some 7.5mln cu m of gas a day from underground gas holders, a source in the government said on 12 February.
Some 1bln cu m of gas was obtained from underground gas holders in 2008.
This volume will be used to supply the public with gas in the autumn and winter of 2008. Some 1.024bln cu m of gas was obtained from gas holders in 2006 and 2007.
There are two underground gas-holders in Azerbaijan, they are Garadagh and Kalmaz.
