Azerbaijan, Baku, 14 March / corr. Trend S. Aliyev/ The subsidiary of State Oil Company of Azerbaijan - SOCAR Energy Georgia plans to put into operation 18 filling stations in Georgia by the end of May under its own brand, Mahir Mammadov, the head of the company said on 14 March.
According to Mammadov, the winter period proved the Azerbaijani fuel to be of high quality. "First of all it is concerned with the diesel, which has proved to be quite resistant to frost," he said. SOCAR hold about 42% of the Georgian petrol market.
