Ismayilov/ From Jan to March 2008, Azerbaijan has produced 2.65bln cu. meters of gas, 1.67bln cu. meters of which accounts for the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) produced in the fields developed by Company's own resources, the press release of the Company said on 4 April.
The press release said that some 980.9mln cu. meters of gas accounted for the casing-head gas produced by the Azerbaijani International Operation Company (AIOC) in Azeri-Gunesh-Chiragli field and Shah Daniz contract field.
About 898.7mln cu. meters of gas was delivered to the government in March, 578.36mln cu. meters of which accounts for SOCAR, 320.33mln cu. meters for AIOC and Shah Daniz project.
According to the PSA contract signed in 1994, AIOC delivers Azerbaijan the casing-head gas produced in the Azeri-Chirag-Guneshli field, excluding the oil that the consortium needs to carry out the oil and gas operations in line with the agreement.
