Azerbaijan, Baku, 5 August / Trend / In January-July, 2008, Azerenerji JSC produced over 12.6bln KW/hour of electric power, while 12.8bln KW/hour was produced in the same period of 2007, Azerenerji reported on 5 August.
Thermoelectric power stations produced about 10.9bln KW/hour (11.2bln KW/hour in 2007) of the electric power and hydroelectric power stations produced over 1.7bln KW/hour (the same of 2007).
In July, 2008, Azerenerji produced about 1.6bln KW/hour of electric power (1.4bln KW/hour in July 2007) - thermoelectric power stations produced 1.4bln KW/hour and hydroelectric power stations produced 0.2bln KW/hour. Power import-export with neighbouring countries (Russia, Iran, Turkey and Georgia) was continued in July.
