Azerbaijan, Baku, 3 September / Trend / In 2008, over 27bln cu m of gas will be produced in Azerbaijan, while 16bln cu m was produced last year.
State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) will produce 8bln cu m of gas in 2008 from the fields it is developing independently.
In 2008, about 11.3bln cu m of natural gas will be handed over to the State - 7bln by SOCAR, about 1.4bln from the Azeri-Chirag-Gunashli fields and 2.9bln from Shah Deniz.
