Azerbaijan, Baku, 5 September / Trend / In January to August, 2008, Azerenerji joint-stock company produced 14.2bln KW/hour of power, while in the same period of 2007 the amount totalled 14.4bln KW/hour, Azerenerji said on 4 September.
Thermoelectric power stations produced about 12.4bln KW/hour (12.6bln KW/hour in 2007) of the electric power and hydroelectric power stations produced 1.8bln KW/hour (the same of 2007).
In August, 2008, Azerenerji produced over 1.6bln KW/hour of electric power - thermoelectric power stations produced 1.5bln KW/hour and hydroelectric power stations produced 0.1bln KW/hour. Power import-export with neighbouring countries ( Russia, Iran, Turkey and Georgia) was continued in August.
