Azerbaijan, Baku, 20 November / Trend , corr. E.Ismayilov /In December, the Oil Rocks oil and gas processing department of the SOCAR company will put into operation three oil wells in the production area 2214, a source from SOCAR said.
"The wells are already developing and they will be put into operation until the end of the year," the source said.
The forecasted daily production volume from every well will make up to 10tons.
Now, the daily oil production from the Oil Rocks field makes up 2,500 tons.
These measures are carried out under the President decree to increase the production volume from 812,000 tons of oil to 1.2mln tons. In 2008, the total oil production volume from the Oil Rocks field will make up 936,420 tons. SOCAR reported that the oil production was planned to increase to 1.20mln tons in 2009.
