Azerbaijan, Baku, Dec.12 / corr. Trend E. Ismaylov / "Presently, payment for electricity used by Azerenergy joint stock company makes up about 80%," Etibar Piriverdiyev, head of Azerenergy, said on Dec. 12.

Azerenergy carried out all preparations by winter season, he said. "There isn't any problem with supply of electricity in the country. Should any problem rise, it is solved immediately," Piriverdiyev said. Full reconstruction of electricity distribution lines is planned in the country within five-six years.

Azerenergy also explores an opportunity to export electricity of local production. "We have a program and there are certain issues put by President, and we are operating in this direction," Piriverdiyev stressed.
