Azerbaijan received 214,400 cubic meters of gas from the Shah Deniz field in January 2009 compared to 181,000 cubic meters in January 2008, the State Oil Company of the Azerbaijan Republic (SOCAR) said.
SOCAR has a 56, 250-cubic-meter share in Shah Deniz.
The company purchased the remaining 158, 000 cubic meters.
There are four wells at Shah Deniz.
Each well has a daily flow of about 22-24 million cubic meters.
Over 9 billion cubic meters of gas will be produced during Shah Deniz Stage I in 2009.
