Turkish minister to discuss cooperation with Kyrgyz administration

A delegation headed by Turkish Energy and Natural Resources Minister Hilmi Guler held meetings at the Kyrgyz Economics, Science and Education Ministry and Cabinet of Ministers State Committee for Tourism. The delegation includes members of parliament and representatives of Turkish business circles.

During the talks, the officials exchanged views on expanding cooperation.

Guler is visiting Kyrgyzstan upon the invitation of Industrial, Energy and Fuel Resources Minister Ilyas Davydov. On Feb 18, Guler held a meeting at the Industrial, Energy and Fuel Resources Ministry.

During the meeting, the ministers discussed ways to benefit from Kyrgyz natural underground sources and investing in jointly developing several natural fields in the country.

The Turkish delegation is expected to meet with Kyrgyz President Kurmanbek Bakiev on Feb. 20.

The delegation's visit will end on Feb. 21.
