Azerbaijan, Baku, Feb. 19 / Trend / The Baku-based oil refineries, part of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan Republic (SOCAR) - the Heydar Aliyev Oil Refinery Plant (formerly Azerneftyanacag), and Azerneftyag refined about 514,000 tons of oil. Production of oil products increased by 7.9 percent as compared to the same period of last year.
According to the State Statistics Committee, production of petrol grew by 55.8 percent, diesel fuel by 4.8 percent, bitumen by 2.2 percent and kerosene - by 4.7 percent. Production of lubricants, fuel oil and naphtha dropped in January.
