Azneftkimyamash OJSC (petrochemical equipment) produced oil-field, geological prospecting equipment, tools and spare parts for this equipment in the amount of 8.5 million manat in January-April, OJSC said. This figure is by 30 percent less than the same period in 2008.
"Cut in production is connected with reducing orders for Azneftkimyamash products," the OJSC said.
Within this period principal enterprises of OJSC - Surakhany engineering plant produced output in the amount of 1.8 million manat, Baku worker plant - 1.7 million manat, Sabunchi refinery - 1 million manat, Baku oil-field engineering plant - 1.2 million manat, plant named after Sattarkhan - 1 million manat.
In this period, the products were not exported to abroad. Products sold on the interior market in the amount of 5 million manat which is by 50 percent less than the same period in 2008.
Azneftkimyamash OJSC was established under Azneftkimyamash state company on the Azerbaijani President's decree dated March 22, 2001. OJSC includes 14 engineering plants, four research-and-development institutes and planning and design ones.
