BP (operator of the Azeri-Chirag-Guneshli and Shah Deniz fileds) is exporting about 900,000 barrels of oil and 31 million cubic metre of gas per day from the Sangachal terminal.
Oil from Sangachal terminal is delivered to world markets via the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan pipeline and gas via the South Caucasian Pipeline. The export pipeline of the west route (Baku-Supsa) is operating. About 90,000 barrels of oil is transported via the pipeline to Supsa terminal in the Blak Sea.
The production capacity of Sangachal terminal is 39.5 million cubic metre of gas per day.
The record daily export from terminal was registered on July 2008, including 1 million barrels of oil (out of which 992,400 barrels of oil were transported via Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan, and the rest 67,300 barrels - via railway to Georgian Black Sea ports).
