India declares "temporary suspension" of gasoline supply to Iran

The Indian company Reliance Industries has temporarily suspended gasoline export to Iran, head of the Petroleum Department of the company Venu Ghopal told Trend .

"The export of gasoline to Iran is expected to be resumed shortly," Ghopal said over phone from Bombay. He did not name the exact time.

According to Ghopal, the company has suspended exports of gasoline, not only to Iran but also to other countries.

"The company supplies oil products only on the domestic market", Ghopal said.

Processing power of Reliance Refinery in India is nearly 30 million tons of oil annually.
