SOCAR will complete two-dimensional geophysical exploration (2D) on Lokbatan-Puta-Gushkhana onshore areas in June, a source close to the exploration said.
"The exploration is nearing completion," a source said.
A source said 2D aims to define tectonic pattern of productive layers. The date obtained is expected to be interpreted in October to December 2009.
The exploration which was launched in these areas in April is performed by methods of common depth point and breaking waves.
Customer of exploration is Azneft production unity owned by SOCAR.
