Uninterrupted and reliable work of the Baku-Tbilisi-Jeyhan oil pipeline and Baku-Tbilisi-Erzurum gas pipelines enables to examine to deliver the Caspian oil and gas to the Red Sea in future, Head of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan Republic (SOCAR) Rovnag Abdullayev said at a meeting with the Israeli delegation led by Israeli National Infrastructure Minister Uzi Landau in Baku on June 29, SOCAR reported.
The meeting took place as part of the visit of the Israeli enlarged delegation headed by President Shimon Peres to Azerbaijan.
Landau said the delegation arrived in Azerbaijan to study potentials and opportunities of the country. Moreover, Landau expressed Israel's desire to purchase the Azerbaijani oil and gas and this visit will favor more strengthening of the economic relations between the two countries.
