In the first half year of 2009 Azerbaijan produced 5.79 billion cubic meters of gas, the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) reported.
SOCAR supplied 3.26 billion cubic meters of the total gas volume, 2.53 billion cubic meters from the Shah Deniz gas condensate and associated gas from the Azeri-Chirag-Huneshli (ACG) fields.
In June Azerbaijan produced 794 million cubic meters of gas, including 457.6 million cubic meters lifted by SOCAR from the Shah Deniz field and 336.4 million cubic meters from the ACG.
